Doug Jones named Chairman of TechAssure

Doug Jones, CPCU, ARM, of member firm Roach, Howard, Smith & Barton, (www.rhsb.com) has been named Chairman of TechAssure for 2011. Mr. Jones is a veteran member of TechAssure and has served Info Tech, Telecommunications, and venture capital firms for over 15 years. “We are focusing this year on the roll out of our exclusive benchmarking system, merger & acquisition due diligence, and contract risk management,” stated Jones. TechAssure members from four continents gathered May 3-6 at the historic Omni Parker House hotel in Boston, MA, USA, for the annual Spring Member Conference. Dr. Robert E. Kahn, Chairman, President and CEO of the Corporation for National Research Initiatives (CNRI), co-inventor of the Internet’s TCP/IP language, spoke on the future of the Internet and its effect on business and commerce.
